For an electronic product to function reliably over time, a well-thought-out testing strategy is required. We work together with our customers to ensure the right level of testing – from prototype to series production.
The goal is simple: to detect errors in time and create safe, quality-assured production.
That's why testing is crucial in electronics manufacturing
A circuit board may look correct at first glance, but small deviations can affect function, service life, and operational reliability. By combining the right test methods, you can reduce the risk of field failures, complaints, and costly rework.
We see testing as a natural part of production – not as a separate step at the end. When the testing strategy is planned early on, both quality and efficiency improve.
Test adapted to product and series volume
All products have different requirements. A prototype series has different requirements than established high-volume production. That is why we adapt the test level and method according to:
• Product complexity • Operational reliability requirements • Series volume • Industry requirements and standards • The customer's own quality system
We help you find a reasonable level where quality and cost are balanced.
Our testing methods in circuit board manufacturing
ICT – In-Circuit Test
ICT is used to check component placement, solder joints, and electrical values on the circuit board. The method is effective in series production where fast and repeatable verification is required.
We ensure that test fixtures and test programs are adapted to the product design.
Flying Probe
Flying probe is a flexible option that is well suited for prototypes and small series. The method does not require a fixed test fixture and is therefore suitable when the design is still under development.
This provides an opportunity to verify the design before volumes increase.
Manual hand soldering means that our experienced technicians carefully handle each component, ensuring perfection and optimal results. We use the best tools and techniques to ensure durable and reliable soldering.
Function test
Function testing verifies that the circuit board works as intended in its intended application. Here, the actual function of the board is tested rather than just its electrical parameters.
We develop test solutions in dialogue with the customer's development team to ensure that the right functions are checked.
Visual inspection and supplementary tests
Depending on the product requirements, we can also perform visual inspections and other supplementary checks as part of our quality assurance process.
Testing as part of the entire production chain
For us, testing is an integral part of contract manufacturing. By working closely with design and production, we can:
• Identify opportunities for improvement early on • Simplify testability in the design • Reduce lead times • Create stable series production
We see the value in ongoing dialogue where experiences from production are fed back into the development phase.
From prototype to stable series production
Testing requirements change over time. In the early stages, the focus is often on verifying the design. In series production, it's more about repeatability, efficiency, and traceability.
We adapt the test setup to where the product is in its life cycle and make adjustments as needed when conditions change.
