Name: Adam Bergqvist
Age: 32 years
Lives: Upplands Bro
Position: Purchasing
Time on Mitac: 7 years
What is a typical day at work like?
My day starts at 06:45 with a cup of coffee and a quick check of my emails to plan the day's activities. No two days are the same, which makes the job both exciting and challenging. I work with everything from calculating upcoming projects to contacting both new and existing customers.
As I have customer responsibility at Mitac, this also includes customer visits, which gives me the opportunity to build strong relationships and understand customer needs in depth.
What is the best thing about working at Mitac?
Freedom with responsibility. We are trusted here and given the opportunity to direct our own work, as long as we achieve our goals. This creates both independence and satisfaction.
"They trust us and give us the opportunity to manage our own work, as long as we achieve our goals."
What do you do in your spare time?
I am a passionate football fan, and during the season you will always find me at the national stadium in Solna. In addition, I like to travel around our country with friends to discover new places and try exciting restaurants.
Three quick questions
